Citric Acid Monohydrate is colorless translucent crystal or white coarse to fine powder crystal, odorless, but has a taste of strong acidity. Easy weathering in dry air, the relative density of 1.542 and the melting point is 135℃. Soluble in water (209g/100ml, 25℃; pH 2.31 for 1% solution is 2.31) and ethanol; it soluble in ethyl ether slightly.
